This is what is going on, in June I found out my fiance was cheating. He said he would never do this again, so I'm trying to work it out. During the next week or so we were not having sex. After this whole situation he said he was not feeling normal in his penial area, he said it was tingleing and just didn't feel right. He went and got checked out at a clinic they gave him a prescription for 10 days. After the ten days he still didn't feel normal so he went back agian. The doctor said all the cultures came back negative, but lets do them again. They gave him a different prescription for another 10days and see if that helps. The test again came back negative. A week after he was done with the prescription the tingleing came back. So back to another doctor same thing happens this doctor tells him some prescriptions won't cure some std's and it can be a false negative on a culture. This time they gave him Cipro for 10 days and we're waiting. Can this happen?

During this whole ordeal we had sex twice should I be tested again. I have been on a prescription in July. All my tests came back negative and normal.

What could this be. Should I be questioning this whole thing.
I also know if he would have just been faithful this would not have happened.
Thank you

I can't say what might be causing your partner's symptoms; this is a question for his doctor(s), not a distant online consultant.  The symptoms are most suggestive of a non-infectious, perhaps emotional cause.  Most likely it's not an STD.  However, you have to be examined to protect your own health.  If both his tests and yours are negative for the usual STDs, you can be sure nothing serious is going on.

Good luck--  HHH, MD
