does this look like warts or herpes,or something else?

Hi doc,i am a 28 year old male,i have 7 small marks on the head of my penis, i can best describe them as flat (not raised at all) a grey/white colour,of 2-3 mm in length. I first noticed them 5 years ago, when 1 appeared, now i have 7 of them, they are next to each other in a horizontal line, across the head of my penis, they are not really round in shape, but different shapes, they do not hurt in anyway, nor are they itchy, but i was wondering if i could get rid of them!      i have had warts on my penis before, but they were big and not in this area, i used Warticon on them and they never came back, i was wondering if these were flat Warts or even a sign of Herpes!    i have attached a photo,it is hard to see them with the shine of the light, but the first one that appeared 5 years ago is clear,it is on the right hand side of the head of my penis near the top!    please help me find out what this is,if you can, thanks!!          sorry doctor but i cant seem to add the photo, but i put the same post on the STD forum, under the same name,it has a photo on that post, could you please look at it there for me,thank you!

Sorry, we do not look at photos on this site.  they are all too often misleading.

I have reviewed your posts to the STD Community, the Dermatology Community and this post.  I will add my comments to those answers you have already had:
1.  This is not and STD and is unlikely to be flat warts.'
2.  It could be any of a number of dermatological problems, nearly all of which are benign.

My advice would be for you to go see a dermatologist who can examine you, perform diagnostic tests if needbe and treat you if needed.  Please let us know what the dermatologist says.  EWH
