dont know what to think.vaginal discharge

i dont know what to think about my vaginal discharge.but i seem to have a large amount. im told its normal. its a clear or white color.
i've asked my pals what it could be, some said its probably from ovulating, but all month long?
or it could be from wearing thongs, even though when this happens i still get it from wearing regular underwear.
some said it might be a yeast infection i have a lot because of my antibiotics for my allergys, but its never sore and rarely itches.
i have had it for ages[since i started my period at 14] but i cant remember if it was always this amount, i mean sometimes i feel like im wetting myself,no matter what the amount [big or small] in my underwear. its always leaving white marks in them!
i am sexually active, so could it be a STD or is it normal?
HELP!

# 1 suggestion is to check for yeast and bacterial vaginosis and while you're doing that, do a pap smear too cuz maybe u have atypical cells that cause u to have constand discharge.  I'm like your situation too.  If it is irratating in a sense that it itches and stuff then definitely have that checked.  if there's nothing wrong and that's just how your body is functioning then don't worry... but the clinician that did the exam on me said Sutafed helps decrese the discharge in those who have alot of discharge or constant dicharge.  it helps mucus in the nasal area and also down there cuz it goes throughout ur body.  but when i mentioned this to another clinician in the same office, she said she has never heard of that and i shouldn't try it.  I personally have not tried it although stains on underwear is sooo inconvienient!

I have alot of vaginal discharge also. I was dig. with bacterial vaginosis.
But having discharge is normal, some people have it everyday. I have
a friend who has a large amount everyday, and Doc said it was normal,
as long as it didnt have a smell, or wasnt green..
