genital warts AND skin tags?

A couple of months ago, I had an experience where I was very irritated after sex. I swelled up on the outside of my vaginal opening for a few days. When the swelling went down, the skin became shriveled-looking for a couple more days. After that, I found a little line of bumps near my vaginal opening. They haven't gone away. They are skin-colored, and they are shaped like flaps. I thought nothing of them until a few days ago when I discovered a wart on the outside of inner vaginal lip. I'm positive it's a wart--it looks like a cauliflower. Could it be that the first group of bumps were skin tags, or does it sound like they are warts also? They look nothing like the other one. The reason I ask is because I have had sex with someone else since the bumps appeared near my vaginal opening, and now I am petrified that I gave him genital warts.  Thanks for your help.

You have given pretty good descriptions of both skin tags and a genital wart; I suspect you have both.

Over 90% of people exposed to genital warts don't get visible warts themselves, so even if your partner was exposed, he probably won't have a problem.
