getting genital gonorrhea from giving/recieving oral sex

i just got treated for gonorrhea, and i had oral sex with the person who might have given it to me.... could i have been re-infected? can u get genital gonorrhea oraly? if so what are the odds from one encounter of giving an recieving oral sex?

Getting gonorrhea orally is uncommon. Possible but not as easy to get from unprotected vaginal or anal sex.

Can't give you the odds but can say it doesn't happen that often. If concerned you can have a throat swab done after 5 days. I would also let your partner know to get tested.

Question why would you have given oral sex to a person who might have given it to you? Or did you find out that you had gonorrhea after the oral sex?
