girl i like may have std, being safe.

ok so i know this girl and weve been friends for awhile, not great friends just see once in awhile hi kinda friends. i heard maybe a year or more back that she got a std. i wasnt really too concered or gave it a second thought, but recently we started talking more and started developing feelings. we have yet to do anything yet, and i plan on asking her about it soon, not because im like oh i heard something but because i always ask all of my sexual partners questions about this and stuff, but i like her and if she should say yes i want to be prepared how to deal with this and find ways to be safe with her.

i was trying to find stuff on kissing but the only thing i found might be cold sores through kissing. does anyone know if i could get anything else from just kissing?

and oral sex, what kind of stds can i get recieving?

the intercourse im not too worried about because i plan on wearing a condom, but with kissing or anything could i get anything like chlamydia syphilis or gonorrhea? what about the other stds? am i likely to get them durning oral? should i just skip oral if she says yes?

if shes taken medication for this stuff does that mean it went away and i cant get it? or can i get it at anytime even though shes taken the medication?

i would greatly appriciate your help with all this im just trying to educate myself if you can help me id so greatly appriciate it

You can not get a STD from kissing.
You can get gonorrhea, herpes, NGU and syphilis

Lets get right down to the facts. You heard a rumor...rumors are often untrue. But if it is true then she got a STD...but no body walks around with an STD unless they have to...herpes and HIV are the only STD's that can not be cured. if she got a different STD chances are she took medication to cure it.

It is a good idea to ask her as you should tell her yours and when you last tested.
