groin lymph nodes

I had sex with this one girl about 7 days ago, and for some reason I have this discomfort in my lower abdomen area.  I don't know how to tell if your groin lymph nodes are enlarged or not.  Where to you feel or look to know, in the groin area?

Your test results prove you don't HIV.  HIV-2 is too rare in the US to worry about, but if you want to find a provider to do an HIV-2 test, it's fine with me.  But whatever is causing your symptoms isn't HIV--anyway, I have never heard of recurrent mouth ulcers being the only symptom of HIV infection.

Good luck--  HHH, MD

Do you think it would be a sign of HIV or something?

HIV?  No. "Something"?  Probably not.  But if you have symptoms you are unsure about, the answer isn't in asking questions to an online doc; it is in seeing a health care provider.  If in doubt, visit your local health department's STD clinic.
