Hmm... How is it you didn't mention your previous prostate problem in the initial question? That makes it virtually 100% that your current problem is simply a recurrence of the prostate problem; your doctors' dismissal of STDs was correct and it's what I would have said, had you provided complete information. (I was concerned you might have tied your doctors' hands in providing the best advice, by not giving them full information -- but it was my hands you were tying!)
Continue to work with your doctors about this, and forget STDs as a result of your CSW encounters. You were not at risk for HIV either. This forum doesn't advise about management of non-STD problems, so that will be all for this thread.
I am 30yrs old and I've had problems with my prostate in the past, I did tell the doctors about my sexual experiences and since I used a condom they didnt really worry. Because of my history with prostatitis the doc gave me 5 pills/1 a day for Levaquin. I still have the discomfort regardless. When I masterbate my lower back hurts and my left testicle. I know you said this is not a symptom of an STD. For every vaginal sexual encounter I have ever had in the past 6 years I have always used a condom. What are my chances of contracting HIV? I doubt I had an STD, but if for some reason I did, would the Levaquin have taken care of it? well the Levaquin didnt cure my pain so regardless I doubt it was an STD
Welcome to the forum.
You correctly understand that no STDs can be acquired through intact condoms; you were being as safe as you can, once you made a decision to have sex with commerical partners. The question here is whether there was a condom rupture or some other uncovered exposure that for some reason you did not recognize. It sounds like that did not happen, but you are a better judge of that than I can be. If there was any oral-penile exposure without a condom, that could have caused urethritis which might explain your symptoms.
Having said that, I doubt you have an STD. Chlamydia, gonorrhea, and other urethral STDs cause discharge as the primary symptom, not urinary discomfort; and do not cause back pain. I wonder whether you have a prostate problem, e.g. prostatitis or the chronic pelvic pain syndrome. For more information, google chronic prostatitis and CPPS (spell it out) and discuss it with your doctor(s). Neither of these is caused by STDs. As you will learn, CPPS often (usually?) is related to genitally focused anxiety -- in that manner, your symptoms might be indirectly related to your CSW exposures.
Apparently you did not mention your sexual exposures and STD concerns to the doctors you have seen. You should do so. For the reasons just given, it is unlikely you have an STD, but you cannot rely on the urinalysis to check out that possibility, and it would be reasonable to be tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia; better safe than sorry.
I hope this helps get you on track to sort this out. Good luck--
