hard bump has me worried

I recently noticed a small, hard bump on my groin.  It isn't on my penis.  It isn't very raised, has no puss, and doesn't hurt.  Sometimes my groin itches, but no different than I can remember from before I lost my virginity. I have only had sex once; we used a condom most of the time, but it came off for about 3 thrusts.  I also performed unprotected oral sex.  Somebody said it could be an ingrown hair, but I would like a professional opinion.  Thanks.

It doesn't sound like an STD, and clearly your risk for STD is low.  An ingrown hair or just a garden-variety furuncle (basically, a deep pimple) are possibilities.  Don't lose sleep over it, but see a health care provider if the bump gets larger or grows red and painful; or if it doesn't go away in a couple of weeks.
