ok,i gave a kid unprotected oral sex for the first time.but about three days later a got a really sore throat and later swollen tonsils,i went to the doctors and she looked down my throat and said i had strep.but she didint do any tests.she gave me 7 days,3 times a day of amoxicillin.i took all of it and its nearly a week after and my throat is still the same.i dont have a fever or anything anymore.and sometimes when i wake up it hurts but im going back to the doctor but im having extreme anxiety and would like someone to tell me what this could be in the meantime.but besides the swollen tonsils i have no bumps on my tongue, cheeks lips or anything.

Most oral std infections don't give you symptoms, so I'd be very surprised if this is an std.

You need to contact your doctor and ask for a throat culture with sensitivity so you can find out what you have, and what meds will cure it.

Hope you feel better,
Aj
