herpes results

I've done some online research, but I still a little unclear about the oral transmittal of HSV-2.  I have HSV-2.  I got it from an ex where I did perform oral sex, however I did not test positive for HSV-1.  If don't have HSV-1, can HSV-2 be passed oral?  My partner is concerned because I have HSV-2 and if I give him oral sex he can get it too.

I recently got tested for hsv-1 and my results were .14.  From what I have read this means I'm negative for hsv-1, right?

please help....

It's been well past 3 months and no, I've never had any oral symptoms.

Thanks for the reply...

Correct about your blood test, it shows you don't have HSV1.

Most HSV2 infections are genital only, but some people have oral infection as well. Have you had oral herpes symptoms? If not, you probably can't transmit your HSV2 by performing oral, only by vaginal or anal sex.
