Summa summarum. Even though no symptoms are present, herpes transmission may happen. Talking about one's status with partner before unprotected sex could be recommendable. At least if one is aware of having herpes virus.
Thanks for the clarifications..
but .. still one more doubt
i dont have any physical sore.. i dont have any symptoms of herpes .. but my partner has a herpes sore close to her genitals...few years back first time when we had our sex i noticed it and it was dry..
do i need to worry about this..
do i need any medical tests..
she got it tested... it is hsv1..
thanks in advance for the help..
You can have herpes without sex, and in this case it's typically oral herpes, caused by HSV1. Genital herpes typically requires having sex, or at least a genital to genital or mouth to genital contact.
On the other hand, in a situation where two people who are both virgins have sex with each other for the first time, it still is not completely safe regarding the genital herpes issue, since one may have symptomless oral hsv1 and it may be transmit to partner's genitals during oral sex.
