hmmmmmmm

I am a female who had unprotected oral sex performed on me, as well as fingering.  4 hours later I started having painful burning over my entire genital area including my anus.  (Literally front to back) This was on a Sunday night.... Tuesday morning I went to the Dr. and was tested for all STD's as the burning and throbbing were not relenting.  5 days later my results came back positive for Gonorrhea.  My questions ... I thought that contracting this particular STD this way was almost impossibe as there was absolutely no contact in any way with his penis.  Secondly can acurate positive results for Gonorrhea actually show up after only 30 hours from exposure?  The reason I'm asking is I am wondering if there is a way I had contracted Gonorrhea before this night as well as I did not think the symptoms matched the STD?

You did not get gonorrhea from being masterbated nor from receiving oral sex. And you did not get gonorrhea symptoms. Your gonorrhea infection would have been an older infection because testing on Tuesday from something on Sunday would not have picked up anything.

Hi

These are good questions.

You asked, "I thought that contracting this particular STD this way was almost impossibe as there was absolutely no contact in any way with his penis."

This is true, it IS impossible to get gonorrhea from getting fingered, however the chance is low for oral sex --especially cunnlings.    Do you have a reason to suspect he has oral gonorrhea?  ---I doubt he does.

You asked/comment, " Secondly can acurate positive results for Gonorrhea actually show up after only 30 hours from exposure?"

Dr HHH/EW have repeated said that the soonest time you can test for gonorrhea with conclusive results for an exposure is 3 days.

Your comment, "  The reason I'm asking is I am wondering if there is a way I had contracted Gonorrhea before this night as well as I did not think the symptoms matched the STD?"

If indeed your result was true positive, you aquired gonorrhea elsewhere from a more significant exposure, e.g., unprotected sex.

You were probably treated already, so the best thing to do is to continue your medication; no sex for about 2 weeks, you should take another test again in one month just to be sure you the gonorreah is cleared.
