hpv questions

I just recently told i have geniatal warts. My scrodum has been very red and itchy. It seems to have either dry skin or scabs of some sort on my scrodum. It eventually goes away after about a week or two but than always seems to come back after a week or two. Is this do to my hpv infection or is this something else. I have been checked for herpes 3 times and all test has came back negative. A girl i use to have sex with told me she had herpes after we had sex so thats why im concerned. Should i go to my doctor and get another herpes test or am i just paranoid. Can the hpv infection be causing the problem on my scorum? Thanks

well i have warts & i don't get anything like that, but i'm a girl. get it checked out though, i don't think that sounds hpv-related.

Sounds more like herpes. So what about the warts? Do they go away or can you get them frozen off? Are they for life like Herpes virus is?
