i have chlamydia and my boyfriend dont

i went to the doctor the other week because i was having bladder problems and abdomital pain. well they told me i have a really bad bladder infection. well yesterday a nurse from my doctors office called me and told me i had chlamydia, but yet a couple of weeks before that i went to get a pap smir and they tested it then and it came back normal and i didnt have anything. well my boyfriend just got tested after i got tested and it came back negative. he also was tested last summer and it was negative. i dont understand and i would like some advice

Yes. Which happens from time to time for many different reasons and for no real reason.

is a false positive where you test for STDs and although you are clean, you get a positive result back?

if u have not taken the medication yet then test again. if positive then someone cheated.

well i havent cheated. and really he has only one time since we been together to cheat and he has no time to go to doctor. he is always workin or with me. so that's why i didnt understand. so maybe me goin to get checked again is a good idea??

Well you could have gotten a false positive which can happen, or you cheated on bf and never gave it to him or bf cheated on you gave it to you and in the mean time took something to cure it. I best guess is false positive. If you have not taken medication yet you can retest.
