is it possibel to not get gonorrhea if exposed to it?

is it possible to not get gonorrhea if a person has experimented unprotective sex with someone who has gonorrhea and has been examined by a doctor who sent lab test? is it possible for that person's results to come back negative?

If you have unprotected sex with someone with diagnosed gonorrhea you need to be treated. Symptoms or not
