i will apreciate ur help i am very concerned and i need ur assisstance
3 weeks ago i was taking my shower s strange rash on my inner thigh was there i cleanes the place from hair because it is on the end of my thigh near the pubic hair and rash not so raised up red color and small than <1cm on my both inner thigh i used flamysil for one week but it didn;t work i called my doctor back home he prescribed for me nizoral shampoo, nizoral tablets, aerius tabltes , lotriderme creme, so i started and now it is my second week the pic i am showing is on the first day before the treatement, after the treatment the rash was gone from my inner thigh but started to show on my stomach on my inner arms and under armpit, under chest, under stomach they r not itchy at all even when they heel they peel in the middlee but there is no liquid at all , i can't feel them plz assess y risk is it secondary sephilis i am very concerned coz i have received oral se unprotected from 6 months but there were no sore near my genitals after the incident, i feel great and there is no ther symptom kindly advice me thx

I'm very scared I can have a diesease. I'm scared to get a check up but I'm pretty sure I have some thing I had unprotected sex June 13. 2014 I was feeling anything I was pretty normal but a month later in August in the second week I started itching buttocks n my tip a week later it stopped but I found a ulcer iguess it leaked pus n a bump onthe head on the penis then a week later another my swollen node started growing. In my groin now my urine is green well it looks like it but when its in the toliet it looks yellow please. Help me I hope Im clear and its a infection. That could be cured

I had the same thing pityrasis Roseca did any of your lymth nodes come up ad did it peel near the groin area and then yet spots everhere mine on my groin joined together and turned into dry skin also before the rash did you hae any sickness or headaches ? Please get back

Grace... the cream doesnt seem to be working and the rash is slowly spreading, i'm also getting mild headaches most days and Im pretty much always tired. Im very worried its an std now, I have looked into the antibiotic Azithromycin, (im in a country where you can go to the chemist and buy antibiotics) and Im going to get some tonight. If I get 250mg course, would taking one a day still work the same as taking all four at once to equal 1g or am I best taking them all together? I have read on here that your not a fan of taking antibiotics unless you've been confirmed of the infection but i'm not in a position to go and get checked until I fly back home. What do you think I should do? thanks

Thanks for the speedy reply Grace, glad to know that its unlikely to be Herpes as out of the three I thought it might be thats the only one thats un cureable. Will continue to use the cream and closely watch it. Also bathing with Teatree oil, going to stop having warm baths and try luke warm ones. Cheers again

this isn't herpes going on. odds are it's a fungal infection and the otc antifungal might not take care of it. continue to use the otc cream for now and follow up if it's not markedly better in a week.

hi, im experiencing the same problem as you, about a week ago i was taking a shower and noticed a rash on my left inner thigh near groin area. right away i came online and searched for answers... leading me to worry that i have an std!! its not itchy, and theres no blisters or any pain, just red and dry and the skin seems to peel at the edges. im away from home now staying with parents for the xmas period, a 6 hour flight away from home also, so i cant just go and see my doc! today i noticed the rash is spreading a little underneath my bum area, and is getting redder. some is small red spots and other is round patches. cant stop worrying and checking online what its more likely to be. I went to a chemist and got some anti fungal cream incase this is a fungal infection, applied the cream for the first time today, but the chances are it's not. I did notice the first week i got here, (about 4 weeks ago) that i had a circular mark, in the same place that the rash has now started.... which with looking online it seems like this was the 'herald patch'. which leads me to think i have either got pityreasis rosea or sphilis or even herpes. i did have unprotexted sex about two month ago :(, if theres one good thing that will come from this is serious lesson learnt, never again! i'm just going to keep applying the anti fungal cream and hope the rash goes quick.. then get it  checked out asap. i was going to stay here for 2 more months but chances are i'll leave within a month if this is still spreading and worrying. please let me know how you got on! also i dont see any pic that you posted, would like to see it and check if your rash was the same as mine is!  thanks x

but i need to ask this question, the syphilis secondery rash is rough and brown color and very clear to see, as i am reading on google, my own if i strech the skin the rash will be hard to see, it is pink by color i can upload a pic if u can assesst me by looking at it, if i has a doctor near by i will go runing , but i need to take a 6 hour flight to reach my home plzzzz try to help me more

We can't diagnosis you based on symptoms onyl a test can. Typically a syphilis rash would appear on the hands and feet.

I will say if you never had a syphilis sore then this can't be syphilis. Still worth a trip to a Dr.

i am aware of the testing but what i need to know if that kind of rash can be syphilis, first becoz i can get tested before 3 months , i am away from home even no medications can be available, if this is something serious i need to fly home

Hello.

Your exposure oral sex is low risk for syphilis.   If you are concerned about syphilis, a syphilis test would be conclusive at 6 weeks post exposure.
