itchy bump on outer labia

HISTORY:
First Doctor: I had an abnormal pap last April. Had colposcopy/biopsy after abnormal pap and biopsy results said that there is no dysplasia but doctor wants to do a Leep anyway. Went to second doctor for second opinion.
Second Doctor: I had another pap in June which was normal. But I had asked for HPV testing at the same time. I was diagnosed with high-risked hpv and due for cryosurgery next week after i had my colposcopy done last week. Doctor said that I have cervicitis when she did the colposcopy. After a few days, I noticed a couple of bumps on my outer labia (vulva)and they are itchy (size of pimple). Is this related to my hpv? Or is it possibly yeast infection due to the antibiotic that she applied during colposcopy? Or is this early symptoms of vulvar cancer? I am so worried. By the way, I had all other tests done including HIV, syphillis, chlamdia, gonorrhea, herpes and they all came back negative except for positive HSV-1. Could i also have genital hsv-1? My partner for 9 months and I have been having unprotected intercourse and oral sex (both ways). Any info will be appreciated.

The doctors providing your care are much better sources for the answers you seek than I can be.  Follow their advice. I cannot comment on the itching bumps; conceivably herpes, I suppose, but atypical--but definitely not cancer.  (It takes at least 5 years and usually 10-15 or more years for HPV to lead to cancer.)  Most likely your positive HSV-1 test reflects distant childhood infection, but it could be genital; the blood test cannot make that distinction.  (If you develop a blister-like lesion or an open sore, see your provider immedidately--within a day or two--for a test for the virus.)  Finally, the main recognized causes of cervicitis are chlamydia, gonorrhea, and rarely herpes; but in most cases no particular cause can be found.

Bottom line:  The only important health concern you have at the moment is to make sure your cervical HPV infection is properly managed.  Follow your providers' advice on that and all will be well.

Thank you for your reply. I went to see my doctor and she does not seem concerned about the itchy bump. She said it's probably yeast infection because she put antibiotic after doing cervical biopsy.
I also told her that I feel some material shedding whenever I wash my vagina. I thought at first that maybe there was gauze left when the biopsy was done. I did not bleed after the biopsy and no dark clay-like material like what I had during my first biopsy due to the application of Monsel solution. I thought that maybe something is blocking (like a gauze) and trapping the blood and clay-like material inside. Doctor examined me and was able to take out some of the material. She said that it was _______ membrane. I just can't remember the name or type of the membrane that she mentioned. But she said nothing to worry. What kind of membrane do you think it is? Should I really have nothing to worry about? Any input would be appreciated.

I recently had protected sex on my period.  I knew this was a bad idea because my vagina is usually irritated at this time.  The next day I noticed a rash on the side of the opening to my vagina.  When this has happened before I have put a little vapor rub down there and it usually soothes the irritation and goes away.  The next day I noticed that there were more bumps that were larger located were I most often shave (libia minora and right above the clitoris). I tried not to jump to conclusions because I have always battled with irritation due to friction during sex.  And it seems that sex towards the last day of my period always gives me complications because I am so unlubricated.  Because I was going away on a romantic weekend I tried to home remedies.  I tried neosporin to help the chafing.  And then I came up with the brilliant plan to use desitin the product for baby diaper rash.  I figure if it was mild enough for a baby it would be okay for me.  After using the desitin my vagina almost swollen shut.  Once I realized the desitin was causing more irritation I washed it off after having been at work for 8 hours.  After all that I told my friend and she told me to soak in epsom salt.  The soak took away the swelling and the little rash towards the opening has left.  The larger bumps have almost faded away but are still semi visible.  There was no ruptures nor were the bumps hard or discolored.  Do you feel the is regular irritation that was agravated by all the different products I was using?  Or an STD?

Also the cheeks on my face broke out in little heat bumps while this was going on and that freaked me out even more.  I have really clear skin and a line of little bumps appeared on my cheeks.  I could be reacting to some sort of anxiety.  I am freaked out but I don't want to jump to conclusions.  I have never heard of anyone having herpes on there cheeks.  The small bumps on my cheeks are not as visible as they were a few days ago but the skin still seems a little puckered where the were.
Do you think the to incidents are related.

My friends tell me I am over reacting but I wanted to get a professional opinion.  Thank you for you time and consideration into this matter.
