little red bumps (pimple-like), extreme itching (especially at night)...scabies, warts, what?

by flguy42, Jun 13, 2007 12:00AM
I've got little red dots (slightly raised, a lot like pimples) all around my crotch, but not on my genitals (except three on the very base of the shaft on my penis).  It itches a lot, especially at night.  I've also got rashes between my crotch and my leg on both sides.

My two guesses are scabies or warts, but here's the thing.
Scabies: I can't find any small zig-zag type trails or tiny nits (but they are tiny, so it's hard to tell).
Warts: they're pink and resemble pimples.  They're soft and not flattened or cauliflowered.

Is it either of these?  Something else?  Any idea?

Go, while you are having symptoms to your doc or planned parenthood, clinic, and have it checked out. Hope this helps. Go, like I said, right away, while the problem is visible. Take care, EB
