looks like a bad zit, but can it be scabies?

Im freaking out right about now. This weekend my sig. other showed me a bump on his leg. It was red and raised and the size of a dime. The center was a tiny black dot. It was hot to the touch and I could tell it was swollen (the area around it, under the skin felt firm/hard) and he asked me to look at it. I pushed on it and pus/blood came out. I  cleaned it out with peroxide and had him take an anti inflamitory. He also applied cold compresses. This bump started to go away. In cluding the black dot, it became more of a dark red.
Well a day after that he had the same thing pop up on his pelvic region. This time I did the same thing as with the first bump. Accept this time it was even worse. I have never seen any thing like it. I looked at it today, and the swelling is going down. The weird thing is the black dot is still present? whats up with that?
Also his groin region is covered in what looks like ingrown hairs or acne. I went online to look up his symptoms and found that he might have scabies? Does this sound like scabies?
I have no idea what to do.

Oh yah, and if it is scabies the doc will prescribe a liquid lotion to put on and it will get rid of it. Its not a huge deal, it is easily treated, but highly contageous as well. When I got them it was because someone in my PE class had them and had to of brushed against me or something because scabies lives under/in the skin. They dont jump like flees. Only contageous to the touch from what my doc told me. Anyways...hope this helped. :-)

Well, I had scabies once when I was about 13 or so. They do tend to show up more in warmner areas of the body and they itch like crazy, but they tend to look more like chicken pox and the sores unless scratched a lot are small like chicken pox or a flea bite. I would recommend he go to the doctor and get checked for them. The scabies I had never had a black dot in the center either. Definitely have him get checked out by a doctor. As far as the ingrown hairs look a likes in his groin area...has he shaved recently? It could be from that. Or it could as well be from the same rash he has elsewhere. Hope this helps a little bit.
