molluscum contagiosum

by rhiannon530, Apr 19, 2009 03:26PM
There was a previous question on her about the bumps on the penis. When I looked up the answer that HHH, MD. gave I read that unlike herpes molluscum contagiosum will leave the system once the virus has run it's course. The issue I am having seems to be that my husband has molluscum contagiosum but it doesn't necessarily go away. The bumps will last about 1-2 weeks and generally there is only one bump. Anywhere from 1-3 months another one will show up. What could this be?
