my question about syphilis

can someone please tell me whether there is anything wrong with my syphilis test result?
in my test result, RPR and TPPA are both negative, but the Syphilis EIA is positive, it is noted that this weakly reactive syphilis EIA with negative RPR and TPPA is likely to represent a false positive reaction and in low-risk individuals may be disregarded. I am so scared about that, I have never been to anywhere except China and New Zealand, and I have never had sexual activities, how come the Syphilis EIA is positive? I have repeated the blood test, and the result is the same as the first one. can anyone please help me with this question? I will appreciate very much!!

thank you so much for your response indeed!~~~
I feel a bit relieved now..but still worry abt that..
can syphilis transmit through other ways except sex?... like through saliva or handshake?
can you please tell me what kind of reasons can give rise to a positive Syphilis EIA in my test result?
thank you a lot again!!!

You have never had sex...then I would not worry about your syphilis test because you can't have syphilis.

I am not fully up on tests for syphilis but you are getting negatives so believe that. Best advice is to speak to your Dr about this.
