need more input

Dear Dr. Hook
Ive already posted in the herpes forum and got a usefull reply from RN Terri. i just had a few more questions about stds in general. (HIV and Herpes in particular) ill try and make this short.
Ive been going to AMP and had protected oral and vaginal sex about 6-7 times in about a 2 year period. My last encounter is whats got me in this std paranoia. Just another visit, do my business and get cleaned up. She used quite a bit of alcohol to clean my genital area off. Couple hours later started to feel a pressure on the tip of penis. Freaked out started to check every 20 mins or so stretching and spreading to see if anything was coming out. Just looked kind of dry and leathery. No lesions but problem persisted for about 2 days and so went to the ER. Urinary analysis ruled out std and UTI. Stopped being so rough when examining my penis and pressure seemed to ease after 2days or so but off and on. 8Days post went to see my GP told him about my encounters got a full panel STD screening including hsv 1-2 everything neg. read online IGG test and HIV could take up to 3 months to test positive. so im still paranoid. soreness on the shaft near the base, started using cetyphyl and soreness gone in 3 days. Had a small bump on the btm of metus checked by 2 different GP's ruled out herpes. (i think ive seen it before but never really took interest.)
My questions
1. If i were to have acquired the HIV virus would there be any symptoms at this point (it is now 22 days post)
2. should i stop worrying about herpes now that ive passed the average symptom appearing time frame.
3. should i go in for another testing, if so what tests should i ask for and when should i do so.
4. what are the chances of me getting HIV or Herpes or any other STI's in these encounters.( last encounter about 2 months prior to this one.)
5. should i stop having sex with my GF altogether (RN Terri advised me condoms are a must, and i respect her advice)
6  Do you think im worrying too much haha.

Haha alright doc. Woke up this morning and well inflammation has gone down and it's kinda hard to see now. Guess it's gonna take some time for this anxiety to fully go away. I really think your doing some great work on this site. This will be my last post.
Take care doctor.

Unlikely this is herpes.  Several pieces of advice.

1.  STOP PICKING AND SQUEEZING!!!  All this does is confuse things and puts you at risk for getting a skin infection from your manipulation.

2.  If you are worried, the lesion should be tested.  Go to a qualified health care provider who can perform a culture of, even better yet, a PCR test (blood tests will be of no help).  Then believe the results.  My guess is that the tests will be negative.  EWH

Uh oh I just checkled again there seems to be a  single red spot or bump. ( size of a pinhead) I'm not sure. I tried to squeeze it and nothing is coming out. It doesn't hurt nor did it burn or tingle in that spot before it appeared...  I have no other body aches swollen lymph nodes or a fever. What do think doctor should I go get it checked out?? I'm freaking out again.

Welcome to the STD Forum.  I will try to help.  As you have already heard, the evidence is that you did not get herpes from the encounter you described.   The negative tests show that you did not acquire it in the past and the absence of an outbreak over a period of over 3 weeks is further evidence that you did not get HSV.

Lets go to your specific questions:

1.  Your risk of HIV is very, very low.  Most CSWs do not have HIV and your sex was condom protected.  In answer to your queston however, one can acquire HIV without symptoms and there need not be symptoms if one had gotten HIV 3 weeks earlier.
2.   See above.  Yes, it is time to stop worrying.
3.  I see no need for further testing.
4.  Very, very low.  At t his time your risk is a small fraction of 1%
5.  As I said, your risk is very, very low.  I would consider it safe to have unprotected sex with your GF.
6.  Yes, I do think you are worrying too much. EWH

Forgot to add i was treated for Ghon and Chlam just in case by my GP. He states that these are tricky to pick up in the screenings.
