oral sex - STDs

Hi and happy new year!

Some hours ago I received oral sex from a prostitute. We used a condom. I know the risk of being infected by one STD is almost zero. But my concern is whether I cantaged a STD at the time of putting out the condom when I maybe touched my bare penis while having touched the condom with the girl's saliva before. Is it possible to pass a microbe with saliva-to-skin contact?

Do you believe that I have to go to be checked for STDs? My real concern is for herpes but I will check it if I see the clasic sore of herpes I suppose the next days.

Another problem is that I have unprotected sex with my girlfriend (she is clear, I was her first sexual partner). What should I do? Continue unprotected sex with her or protected?

Sorry for my english! Thank you for your advice!

protected oral sex from a sex worker isn't  riskier than protected oral sex from a stranger.  if it's a decent sex worker, they are far more likely to be looking after themselves and using condoms properly and getting tested regularly , not something you can say about just about everyone you'd have sexual contact with.

Thank you both for your replies!

Mandy8362: The same reason why all people go to prostitutes... sexual impulses. It was night and I was in need of sex and my girlfriend was hundreds of kilometres away. I know this was a mistake but I told myselft that I would be very careful.

You were protected so therefore you should be safe.. Just out of curiosity.. why did you have oral sex with a prostitute knowing they are dirty?

happy new year to you too!

this isn't worth any worry about. protected oral sex is the best way to go!

No reason to change anything with your partner based on this one  incidence.
