oral sex stds

by jasonesco, Oct 23, 2008 01:36PM
hello there, a little over 8 weeks ago i had unprotected oral sex with a male both giving and receiving. at about 4 or5 weeks i noticed soft spots in my mouth which seemed a little raw and some bumps in my mouth that werent painful but it was obvious it was there. my tounge turned a bit yellowish too and i noticed a little blood when brushing my teeth and tounge. there was also feelings of fatigue and a light flu. also i noticed red blotches on my penis and underneath the foreskin. the blothches dissapear and come back. the same as with a rash i will get a slight rash on my arm and feet, like there will be redness on my arm a red blotch and the same on my foot a red bloth there and it will dissapear within a  few hours or days. i went to planned parenthood to get a std test but they only tested me through a urine test for gonereah. i also took a hiv test with oraquick that came back negative at 8 weeks. like even when i play basketball or take a warm shower i can see redness in my arms and feet and sometimes my chest. im just very concerned and was hoping to get some information before i get a chance to take another full std test next week. i was wondering does this kind of red blotches happen for things like herpes, or maybe clamydiia or some other std im really not aware of, ive never had any of this before this one time exposure. i would from the bottom of my heart appriciate some advice if anyone knows or has opinions of what this could be, thank you again so much

Oral sex does not transmit STD's very well. For giving oral you could get herpes, syphilis or gonorrhea. Herpes and syphilis is not very common when it comes to STD's and chances are you would see a sore on your mouth.

The symptoms you talk about are not related to an STD because STD symptoms start where the infection occured and do not travel through the body like that.

If anything I would see your Dr and have him/her examine you.
