penis rash/mild sore throat

Hello everyone, (sorry for not being brief)

I am a 23 year old heterosexual male who recently had sex (8 days to date).  Before my recent activity, my last sexual partner was about 2 years ago.  Eight days ago (Saturday), my female partner and I had sex, before slipping on a condom we were dry humping with clothes on and off for a bit.  When we were ready for penetration, I went to use a condom.  The next day (Sunday), maybe 12 or so hours after sex, I felt an irritation at the head of my penis.  It was not anything extreme, I assumed it was due to the fact my body needed to get use to having sex again.  Also, the fact that we were literally up all night having sex.

The next night, we had sex again, practically the same way, with the same type of condom (Trojan her pleasure, brand latex condoms, lubricated).  By Monday, (12 hours after sex) my irritation reached a new climatic high, and a thumb nail penis rash was seen.  Also, I can feel a slight burning/annoying itchyness at the very tip of my penis when urinating. At this point, I did not have any other symptoms besides the rash (zero swelling, bumps, sores).  As the day continued, I became more annoyed with my rash, considering the possibility of getting an STD.  Later that night, I did an online search and found that hydrocortisone can be used to help minor rashes.  I bought a tube, and my rash started feeling much better, less irritated, decreased desire to scratch.  Unfortunately,  a coincidental or new symptom started to occur.  The same night, I started to feel as if I was getting sick.  I went to the store and bought some medication for my expected sore throat.  My anxiety about getting infected increased due to feeling sick.

After doing some online research, I realized that this can be a problem and my symptoms started to mirror a lot of possible STDs (flu-like symptoms).  My female partner last sexual partner was early in the summer.  She told me that she was tested after she slept with him and that she has been abstinent since (I was her first after her last STD test).

I am not sure if I have anything.  Should I be worried?  My female partner said that if anything I am suffering from anxiety.  She is planning on getting another STD test during Thanksgiving week to cure my nervousness about my symptoms.  As far as I know, she is asymptomatic and her only problem is me.

A few questions:

If your partner gets very wet, can "dry" humping without a condom lead to an STD?   This is assuming some of the vaginal fluid is over the shaft and head of penis during your session.

If my female friend told me the truth, I can rule out most STDs (since her results were "clean").  Can I really rule out, HIV?  I know this may be stretching it, but does it not take 2 to 3 mths to develop the antibodies for HIV? If done too early, her HIV test can be inaccurate?

Do you think I have a latex irritation?  If I do, how long do you think it could possibly last?  I started using the cream, but stopped once the itching decreased and I noticed some healing.

I just found the answer to my second question.  Depends on what is being tested. There are tests available that can give a person an accurate result within 10-30 mns of processing the blood.  These tests are more expensive but they are said to be as accurate as the standard exam.

If I wanted a test to see if I was HIV negative, I would have to wait 3-6 mnths after possible exposure.   This period is called the "window period",  it is at this time where the HIV antibodies is at its maximum and an accurate diagnosis can be given.

So if my female friend, received the test that received results within 10-30 mns, then I should not have anything to worry about.

I just found the answer to my first question:  "Dry" humping is when there is no transfer of fluids.  Therefore, I would have to wear a condom and my female friend should wear underwear preferably.  Or, we can both have all of our clothes on.  So, I guess we did not do as much dry humping as I have expected.  And if she was infected, I would have had an increase risk of infection, even though I did not climax during the session.
