hello doc today i was with a sex worker. we did not have oral or vaginal sex she gave me a message. what im conserned about is while i was naked recieving the back rub she sat on top of my buttocks wither her legs open with no underwear on for a few minutes. i didnt notice for ahwile because she had a dress on and vagina was on the hairy side. i asked her about 5 minutes after the back rub to get off of me .

I washed my buttocks with warm water and soap afterwards. my question is can you get hsv2 this way? Im really worried and she didnt touch my genitals at all just sat on my buttocks and i did not see any open wounds or sores on her

Be patient.  We do not service this site 24/7.

The exposure you describe is no risk.  The essentials of herpes transmission are direct contact and friction on the right sort of skin surfaces.  You do not know that your partner had HSV and even if she did, most sexual encounters with infected partners do not lead to transmission of infection. The risk is even lower when the sort of skin involved is normal (as opposed to genital) skin.  This was a no risk expoure and you have nothing to worry about and there is absolutely no reason at all for you to even entertain the idea of testing.  Hope this helps.  EWH

Corret.  The skin on your buttocks is different from genital skin and less susceptible to infection.  The itching may well be anxiety.  EWH
