possible std

Earlier this week i went to the ER b/c i was feeling very sick. (back pain, pelvic pain, nausea, frequent urination, swollen lymph nodes and a sore throat). They took a urine sample and diagnosed me as having a UTI. About two days prior i had given my man oral and since my visit to the ER i feel like my sore throat has not changed. They gave me antibiotics which i have been on for the past two days and just today i checked the back of my throat and saw some white puss-looking bumps in the left corner of my throat which is on the same side that my swollen lymph nodes are on. I don't know if this an STD or not but it really has me worried. He has cheated on me before and given me Trich and like a dummy i still took him back. So could these spots in my mouth just be from the UTI or could it be from an STD? I really need to know! My throat shows no redness or other irritation, just soreness, white puss-like bumps/spots oh and it kind of burns when i eat certain foods.

Grace is right not all the time do people who cheat do it again, but it does happen a lot more than I like.  Didnt want to make you nervous I just was feeling bad about that happening to you.

Not all cheaters always cheat.  Sometimes the lesson is well learned the 1st time.

At this point, you need to follow up monday with your regular provider about your continued issues .  I assume they tested you for strep throat in the ER when you were seen? If you are concerned about std's orally, talk to your provider monday about that, it's easy to swab your throat and send off the tests for them.  Odds are though that you just have a virus going on causing most of the throat issues and of course the uti isn't helping either.  I do feel the need to mention that your provider should consider herpes too as a cause for both so ask about proper testing to cover that base too.

Most likely it is from the uti.  Also, oral sex is a risk mainly for chlamydia and gon, but much lower for most other stds.  I dont know what antibiotic he gave you but I would think if you take the medication fully it will clear up what you have.  Also kinda personal but I have had a fiance cheat on me twice, from my experience cheaters always cheat, you dont deserve that.  Especially since he is putting you at higher risks for catching stds.  Good luck with everything.
