question about condom use

i had never had a condom torn/break/rip or whatever on me. can someone explain to me what would it look like? if the condom broke, will the ENTIRE condom break? or can there be little tears in it? can the part where it covers the head be broken but the rest of the penis be covered, or will the condom just break apart?

one time i didnt leave room at the end of the tip like youre supposed to, does that increase the chance that the condom can break?

thanks.

You would see it for sure. Just happened to me, and I can tell you, no doubt about a broken condom.

thank you vance for your response.

just to be sure: so if it DID break, the entire length of the condom would be ripped and you can easily see that it has been torn? is it possible for just the part thats covering to be ripped and nothing else?

If the condom breaks then it will completly break and will no longer be covering the penis. You would have to remove it at the base, the ring at the base would be the only thing still left in one piece. If a small hole or rip starts in it then the entire thing breaks.

If you do not leave any room it will increase the risk of breakage also it will not leave an area for the seman to go, so that could cause it to spill out of the top. Low risk of that happening but still possible.
