red mark under skin of my penis

hi doctors, about a year ago, i had tingling, itching, on my penis and groin area, which i though could be from my excessive bike riding or my x girlfriend - since that time i have been tested for everything included HSV 1 & 2 three times - 7 months after the pain started being the last time, all test results being about the same numbers at HSV 1  - 0.68 and HSV2  - 0.32 . So about a two months ago i started seeing my x girlfriend again - we discussed STD's and she has been tested very everything including HSV a few months back , she told me she has not been - we have since broke up, i noticed yesterday while masturbating in the shower a pain on the top of the rim of my penis - i felt a little pain - the pain went away, about an hour later i saw a small red dot - i guess i started obsessing about it and now i feel it and it kinda hurts - its smaller then a pin head and it definitely under the skin it looks indented almost from a certain angle and has not gotten any bigger- i should say that in the last month i have been breaking out in hives and one was close to my lip - Dr. friend told me it nothing and im allergic to something - but now im freaking out - could this be a friction burn from masturbating? - i should say i ride my bike a lot and i did two days ago with shorts on with no boxer shorts and i did feel a little rubbing -  it has not bleed or ozed or anything its a red dot that just kinda hurts - please any help would be great

Although you did not ask it directly, I presume that part of your question is, could this red spot be herpes?  The answer is, NO!  Believe your lab tests, your ex-GF, and your doctor friend.  It is far more likely to be due to the trauma of masturbation or, as an outside manifestation, whatever is causing you to experience hives.  My advice is not to worry about it, that it will probably go away in a few days by itself and that you do not need testing of any sort to further evaluate it.

I hope this helps.  EWH

"I have had dull pains too in my testicle and penis - mostly when i sit for a long time"

Nothing to worry about there.  Its like when you sit on your leg for too long and it "goes to sleep", and like when you sit on your backside for too long and your backside goes numb.  I suggest getting up and moving around and allowing some circulation to get back in to your nether regions.

What you describe does not sound anything like molluscum either.  If you are concerned, go see a health care provider but do not worry about it being an STD - it is not.  EWH

Hi doctor and thanks you so much for your encouraging words - i was reading about something called Molluscum Contagiosum, and i made me think, is something like this possible - i realise there are alot of paranoid people on this forum i dont want to take up anymore of your valuable time - but i have had from time to time blochy looking marks from time to time and like i said, probably just paranoia due the 5 doctors and no actual  explanation in the last year. I have had dull pains too in my testicle and penis - mostly when i sit for a long time - i did call my x girl today and she assured me again that she has had 1 protected sexual encounter in the time we broke up a 6 months ago with a long time male friend and there is no issues with him what so ever, im just trying to make some sort of sense of the fact that i have a painful spot on my penis - and im sure the many possibilities of what could cause it - thank you so much for any comments.
