redness on the tip

About 5 months ago i had protected sex with a friend and i felt a sharp stabbing pain at the tip of my penis .. it went away and i finished. that night i had redness at the tip on my penis and i thought it was from the pain i had felt while having sex. well 2 months later it was still there a lil redness and slight swelling very slight. Then a couple weeks later i had pain while urinating intense pain through out the whole shaft. I call the doctor that day and made an appointment she told me she was sure i had the clap.. being she was a doctor i agreed she gave me medication and i had urine taken to make sure.a week later i had no pain urinating and the test results came back negative for the clap or gonorrhea. but the tip of my penis was still slightly red. i went to another doctor and he ran the same tests all which came back negative and i said maybe it was trich. He prescribed me antibiotics which made it burn when i urinated and it was cloudy leaving a white residue on my black boxers which i thought was from the medication cause it only happened that one time....... any way that was 2 months ago i still have redness on the tip which comes and goes daily it is more red and swollen after sexual activity but goes down after a day but its consistently either slightly red or pink  the whole time there is never any pain maybe a slight itch but even then that could just be my boxers itching me. its completely stressing me out and im constantly thinking there is something wrong with me i don't know what to do. ... ps all this took coarse directly after my fiance of 5 years leaving me i know for a fact we were monogamous and were both clean i was thinking it might have a lil stress related issue and that fact i was quite depressed for an extended period of time. please help

Again another post from 2009-no reason to bring up and post on old threads.
Thanks

You probably just have sensitive skin down there.  It is a common problem actually.  Start using a penis health creme.  These cremes help with all sorts of issues down there (redness, itching, flaking, rashes etc).  It's nice that you can rule out an STD, so try using a creme daily and I bet you see positive results.  Good luck.

This could be anything but doesn't sound like an std... I think should work closely with your doctor.... one doctor that you trust, it may take a few visits but this is the best thing you can do at this point.
