There is NO cure for molluscum, and anyone that promises a cure is lying.  Molluscum is a virus, and we have no cure for any virus to date.

The treatment you got it a very reasonable treatment, and I wouldn't spend any money on something that promises a cure for molluscum, herpes, HPV, etc.  Most of those companies are currently under investigation by the FDA for false claims.

And herpes and molluscum look very different - the NP would know the difference.

Thanks...went to P/P, and the NP felt it was most likely Molluscum Contagiosum. She applied Acetic acid to the three bumps, and said the bumps would dry up and fall off, suggesting that would be the end of it....now that I'm surfing online , I see that there are many natural/not-so-natural remedies for this affliction.
While not neccessarily a true STI, it apparently is being widely spread thru sexual contact.

These websites are claiming that freezing/burning are NOT a cure to these colonies.(And to buy their products.) Should I seek another opinion/treatment?
In light of the fact that I was scared by these bumps, believing them to be herpes, perhaps some discussion of this ailment is warranted.

Its doubtful its HPV, as this would be very soon for warts to appear, and white spots don't sound like herpes.

You should make an appt with your doc or go to an std clinic though.  Since you have symptoms, you should be checked.
