sex after treatment

I am a 21 y/o gay male and i found out today that i had gonorrhea. i recieved a single antibiotic pill and was told symptoms should clear within 2 days. how long should i wait to have sex without worrying about infecting my partner? would a one week wait be long enough?

Yes, one week to ten days is the recommended time frame.  But please, make sure your partner was treated as well as condoms...even for oral sex (some type of barrier is better than none ie. dental dam).  You can very easily be reinfected if you have any type of sex with an infected person.
