skeptic on my test results

I went to the clinic and got tested for every STD;
I feel like my doctor didn't want to tell me I had Gonorrhea and or Chlamydia; as maybe he wanted to calm my worries,
He did say I had "a bit of bacteria in my urethra" (NGU) and perscribed 4 pills of Azithromycin as a single dose.

Can anyone give any thoughts on this?

If I did have Gonorrhea and or Chlamydia, he would have told me the next day I called in, right?
he said, " you dont' have gonorreha and/or Chlamydia", as i thought I took that medication for gonorrhea to begin with.

I read here: http://depts.washington.edu/nnptc/core_training/clinical/PDF/Urethritis2007.pdf page 8, that confirms he was being honest as I didn't recieve any other treatments.
am I just worried for nothing?

just wanted to update you on something, my symptoms continued (slight urethra tingling) and had believed Gonorrhea/and or Clamydia (from which i tought I had) had returned but went to the doc to do another test for them, and they both came back negative, so, twice negative, and surely enough all my symptoms went away.

Thanks,Vanace2335,I must have been getting a "panic/worried" moment, I don't know what I was thinking when i wrote this; too much information, and the problem is knowing too much...etc.

I do believe the dr.

Thanks again for your input.

I can't speculate on what your Dr did/did not say or would or would not say. I don't know any Dr that would not say you have this or that and give you the proper treatment for it. Azithromycin can actually be used for several different things.

I personally see no reason to doubt your Dr.
