skin rash at at base of penis

I have been getting a rash after I have sex with my girlfriend for like the past three months. I've been to the doctor and he said it's not an std, but I still get the rash after we have sex. I don't know if i'm getting a rash from her skin rubbing with mine or what. It always ends up going away, but it still comes back after we have sex. It's pretty much just a red rash at the base of the penis and small bumps in the pubic region. She does shave. Please let me know what I can do to keep from getting this rash.

totally normal....I call it the rug burn effect, it's just irritating, nothing to worry about..... nothing you can really do to prevent it. maybe make sure she's clean shaved before sex.
