slight pain in groin area

I have been getting a slight pain in my groin area for about a week. I went to the dr and he said he could not feel any lumps. There is no discharge/burning when I go to the toilet. I took a HIV test and it was negative, although the last time I had an encounter was 7 weeks ago and they said 12 weeks is needed to be sure.

I was wondering if it could be gonnorhea without any discharge or burning sensation. I do not have any fever or anything but I feel jabs of pain now and again between my legs near the top just where the groin starts. Anyone got any ideas. I also had a syphillis test and it was negative too.

I haven't any idea why they tested you for syphilis when syphilis wouldn't cause the symptoms you are describing, but its always good to know your status, so its not a waste.

I would follow up with gonorrhea, chlamydia, and urethritis testing if you are male.

Did you have any other testing done?  Gonorrhea, chlamydia?  That would be my next step.
