small bump at base of penis

You know, i'm here looking at posts of std's online because I just recently had the same thing.  I had sex with a woman 5-6 days ago and the condom broke.  it was a one night stand and i have been scared ******** ever since about std's.  I haven't had any abnormal symptoms other than today when, while doing my regular "check my **** out routine because i'm paranoid" i noticed a small bump at the base of my penis that felt like an ingrown hair.  it was a little bit tender and slightly raised.  i assumed it was an ingrown hair and squeezed it really hard and agrivated it and actually made it bleed a little bit.... however i couldn't squeeze anything out of it.  also, although i shaved that area a couple weeks ago there is a hair exiting the "raised area".  i am very concerned and although i plan on getting tested for stds this weekend I would like to just throw this question out there.  is it likely to be foliculitis (folliculitis) even though there is a hair exiting from the hard, slightly sore, bump?  It is the only bump I have, and i was under the impression that a herpes outbreak usually is a cluster of blisters... thanks for your time...  I hope someone out ther ehas had a similar problem.

Its actually very likely to be an infected hair follicle if there is a hair sticking out of it.  I think getting it checked it always a good idea, but I wouldn't overly worry about it.  Its not sounding like herpes.
