small colorless fluid free bumps on fingers...

Hello -- I've searched to find the potential cause of bumps that have recently appeared (5 days ago) on my index finger & thumb.  They are small, colorless, fluid-free, and painful upon applied pressure.  The bumps have increased in number (from one on each finger to 3 on each finger) but stay contained to those two digits.

I was diagnosed with HPV four years ago and am sexually active.  My last activity was appx. 1 week ago -- and I was menstruating. My concern is transmission of herpetic whitlow and/or HPV related warts.

Any help or direction towards more information would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
