soar throat , discharge, antibiotics

Here it goes...about 6 1/2 weeks ago I went to a massage parlour. The woman performed rectal stimulation on me with a gloved hand, there was some blood...but that was the extent of the contact. A week later I detected some discharge from my penis and went to a walk-in clinic and gave a urine sample for STD's plus blood work. The doctor gave me some antibiotics for the penile discharge as well. Everything came back negative and the dischage stopped in a few day's. About 4 weeks after that I had unprotected oral sex performed on me by a street worker...about a day later I had a bad headache then another day later I had more discharge...this time worse than before. the next day I had even more discharge and went to the doctor again. He did swab tests and again gave me 1 dose antibiotic pills...the discarge lessened, then disappered but I started to get a bit of an itchy throat. 8 days after that I had mutual oral sex with a girl friend and a couple days later she got a really soar throat with visible bumps in the back of her throat (she hasn't had sexual contact with anyone but me). Also, I had a discharge from my penis again...and just inside the urethra what looks like a small white flap of tissue can be seen. I'm super scared and worried that I have something, and that I gave something to her. my questions are:
1.what do my symptoms sound like?
2.what kind of STD can cause a throat infection like that?
3.what's the likelihood of the swab test being negative if I had just urinated before the swab test (i told the doc this) and that the antibiotics did not work.
4. one last thing is that I was taking a lot of gravol (perhaps double the recommended dose) to help me sleep and ease my anxiety..it say's something on the box about enlarged prostate warning...can that cause the discharge?
thanks a lot for your time..

Sorry, I can't help much.  You have seen a doctor who seems to be on top of things, and there are atypical features of your case.  For example, your penile discharge could not have come from the massage parlor anal event you describe.  But presumably you had nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) which recurred--which is pretty common but usually not dangerous for either the infected person or his/her sex partners.  I cannot comment at all on "foamy" discharge or a "small white flap of tissue".  Your throat symptoms almost certainly aren't due to any STD.  The performance of a swab test depends on exactly what test was done on the swab and for which bacteria (gonorrhea, chlamydia; PCR vs other DNA test vs culture); you'll need to ask your doctor.  I'm not familiar with Gravol; I think it's an over-the-counter nausea medication, right?  I don't know its effect on the prostate gland, if any.

Bottom line:  Continue to follow up with your own provider and follow his advice; or if uncertain about his expertise in STDs etc, get another opinion.

Good luck--  HHH, MD

a note to add is..the discharge is a foamy white...it's mostly there only in the mornings and at night when my urethra seems to have quite a bit in it...there's no pain on urination...what mostly freaked me out today was seeing that tiny "flap" of tissue just inside the urethra...warts or herpes?...also with the headaches and soar throat i'm scared of HIV...I keep thinking I'm feeling jabbing pain in the lymph nodes in my groin
