sore throat

ok so i had oral sex 3 wks ago and i also slept with my mouth open for like a whole week afterward, then i got a sore throat for a few days. then it went away but returned  few days later. i know that the risk of getting stds in the throat is rare but idk. my sore throat is pretty much gone but it hurts when i yawn it feels like somethign is about to pop and it causes a pain in my ear. when i swallow cold things i feel pain. oh and did i mention that all of this has happened on the right side of my throat only. i even had a swollen gland....is this tonsilitis?????or something more????

What was your risk?

If unprotected oral then you had a risk for HSV 1 (2 if giving), Gono, NGU (if male), Syphilis... this however is a low risk exposure but if you are experiencing symptoms then you should consider testing.

If unprotected sex penentration then you had a risk for all STDs and need testing

If no unprotected encounters, no risk
