Back in mid June I received unprotected oral from an escort. Several days later I started getting lower back pain. 1st week of July the lower back pain got worse. After several more days of dealing with the pain I went to the ER and they discovered blood in my urine and believed it to be a kidney stone I passed. A day or two later I was urinating and felt something hit me inside my body and then it came out of my body. I have done another CT Scan since and they do not see any kidney stones in my urinary system but I am wondering if the blood in the urine and all my symptoms could be related to an std. It has been over 6 weeks at this point and I feel discomfort and pressure in my lower back and near my abdomen. At times I have to press harder than normal to pass urine. Am I worrying for an std for no reason????

Symptoms od back pain have nothing to do with a STD. Follow up with your Dr...if concenrned with a STD then you can test for gonorrhea, herpes and syphilis...those are the STD's you can get from oral sex.

Thanks for your insight Vance (AKA Mr Gamecocks)! I will be doing my annual screening for hiv and will ask my pcp to schedule an std screening when I have my appointment in two weeks. I was feeling ok until I started thinking that my lingering symptoms from what supposively is a kidney stone - so was wondering if blood in my urine, lower back pain, or lower right abdominal pain/pressure/discomfort could be symptoms of an std... Is the penile discharge constant? I went to a local Planned Parenthood last Friday and was advised to call in 3-5 days for results - I tested for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia.

I am asking the discharge question because maybe what I thought to be a kidney stone could have been penile discharge.

My Urologist gave me a dose of doxy (once daily for 10 days/100Mg) for UTI  as well - thoughts on this therapy?

UTI I can comment on that due to not enough knowledge.
Discharge...yes I mean it is not flowing every second, but you would notice it at the very least as stains on your underwear, but probably by now would see it at anytime.

Sometimes after I urinate i do the usual of making sure I emptied my bladder etc but sometimes walk away from the toilet to realize I sill have some urine!!! Should I have tested for anything else given my exposure (receiving end of oral from a csw)?

Possible, but not really false negatives but it could cure it if you ever had it.

Could I have gotten Hep A/B/C from receiving oral sex from an escort? I guess my relationship is now over cause once the results come in they will have to notify my girl. We haven't had sex in over 8 months now as we are going through tough times so I guess in a way this will force our relationship to be over.... I haven't had relationships with anybody besides receiving oral in mid june....... so depressed................. No results yet either....... (was told takes about a week in PP - quick if nothing found, so Wed, Thurs or Fri call if I havent heard anything...... and of course they say no news is good news....)

It's hard to be positive while I have a constant pain in my body reminding me of my poor decision....... I essentially have shot my relationship to helll.... I thought from receiving oral my only possible exposure would be to Chlamydia, Gonho, NGU, and syph....... I guess there are other things like hep a/b/c.........

I don't think hep is a concern, can't say for certain but from reading the Dr's posts they never say anything about hep.

Well no sex in 8 months does not make for a happy relationship.

But also back pain, body pain is not STD related.

The reason I think I have an std is I know my body and the same lower abdominal and back pain are still there and never leave....... I think my liver might be inflamed and that's where the concern for hep came from.. I asked the doc on their forum and he advised there is a theoretical risk for hep b...... I guess i shouldnt be overly concerned but again the depression and anxiety are overwhelming today..... I hope to get -ve results from my Chlamydia and gonho tests soon....  Assuming they do come -ve and the pain does not go away...... Not sure what else could be causing the pain..... Going NUTS!!!

Have to keep following up with your Dr. Even if the tests are positive your pain has nothing to do with it.

I hadn't realized this but my urine is cloudy.... by cloudy I mean I can bubble likeish urine in the toilet after I urinate....... This is a classic symptom of Chlamydia from what I understand.....  Waiting for test results.....
