std really worried

Almost 4 months ago now I got really drunk and had a sexual encounter. The only thing I remember is not being able to get or keep an erection but we definetly tried to have sex and there may have been insertion for a brief moment, I dont remember feeling anything but she was on top of me and trying to put it in.

Anyways a few days later I started feeling a tingling sensation in the end of my penis and I kept checking myself over and over to see if there was anything wrong. I have notice tiny white dots on my penis head but only if I stretch the skin or I have an erection and look really closly. Then I started noticing a pain after urination and sometimes after ejaculation in my penis and increased urination frequency. Also sometimes I felt like I had pain in my groin and I noticed redness on my penis head but it goes away after a little while or if I take a bath.  I went to a doctor who looked at my penis and then did clamydia and gonorhea tests which came back negative. A few weeks later the symptoms persisted not that strong and mainly only after urination or ejaculation. Went back to the doctor and thought possibly either urethritus or trich. So he prescribed me medications I cant remember the exact kind but they didnt seem to work or help. During this time I had sex with my girlfriend but we always used a condom. I went back the doctor who did a swab to test for claymdia again and gonorhea and trich, and also a blood test for herpes which all came back negative. He then put me on a combinational antibiotic which seemed to help but symtoms came back as soon as I was off them. (two months after incedent). He suggested I go see a urologist.

I went to the urologist he did an examination looked at my urine in a microscope and said he thought I was perfectly fine and that stress had been causing all my pain and symtoms. Here is where I am today almost four months after the incedent and I feel like I still having problems. A few weeks ago my girlfriend started of complaining that she thought she had a yeast infection, however she has never had a yeast infection before and we have been sexual with each other for over  a year now(prior to incedent). She hasnt complained of the yeast infection anymore but everytime we have sex she complains that it stings really bad at first but then goes away after we have sex four a minute or two.
I am just really concerned that I may have something that the doctors just missed I have read reports of other kinds of bacteria that cause urethritus and dont come up in standard Std tests. Counld it be possible I have a bacterial infection that was resistant to the antibiotics prescribed to me. Also can a doctor really tell if I am clean just by viewing my urine under a microscope. I NEED HELP I DONT KNOW WHO TO TRUST. I dont think that I am a crazy person and I really dont think that I am just imagining these symtoms. Everytime I have sex a few times I feel soar for a while afterwords. Before this incedent I would masterbate two or three times a day and feel fine all day> I dont get it I am really worried. Please help, I hope I didnt give my girlfriend a infection.

Well, you might get better info from the men's health or urology forums.  You are negative for all stds.  I'm sure its terribly frustrating, and I wish I had some magic answers.  :(

let me know what you find out about the wbc count.

The urologist did give me a prostate exam and said it was fine. Sometimes I feel like theres no hope and maybe I  am crazy and just imagining these symtoms. my biggest fear is that I will somehow give my gf an std.  We are trying to get past this in our relationship and this just seems to be a constant reminder. Anyways thanks for all your help.

NGU and NSU are the same thing.  I'd wonder if you have non-bacterial prostatitis.  You need to have a prostate exam.

They'll have the records - the law in most places is to keep them for 5 or 7 years.

I will look into the white blood cell count, the second time I went to see the doctor he did give me antibiotics for a what the called not specific urethritis but that didnt seem to do anything. Its not like I hurt all the time either sometimes when I masterbate I feel fine afterwords but its mostly noticed after having sexual intercourse or If I have coffee and pee alot during the day. The urologist did give me a prostate exam and said that it seemed to be fine. Is there certain bacteria that is untreatable, I just dont want to give my girlfriend an std we use condoms everytime. The urination frequency thing has happend in the past but I just feel to notice it more now. I will call the first doctor to find out the wbc count I hope they keep those records because it was almost 4 months ago. thanks

Oh and it does sound that the urologist was fairly dismissive.

Do you know what the white blood cell count was in your urine?  There is something called NGU - a non-specific infection in your urethra, and one of the diagnostic criteria is elevated white blood cells.

If you can find out if the wbc count was over 10, give or take, then you should be treated for that.  You can learn more about NGU at www.ashastd.org.  You should also get a prostate exam to rule that out as a cause.

I went to see the urologist 3 months after I started feeling the symptoms. I am pretty sure they didnt do any specific std tests while I was there he said he looked at my urine and it seemed fine. It was over 2 weeks after the incedent that I got tested from a regular doctor for clamydia and gonhorea and then 6 weeks after that i got tested again for the same plus herpes and trich which all came back negative. The first time I got tested the doctor said something about finding a white blood cell in my urine but he was stumped as to the cause thats why I got sent to the urologist. I dont know a part of me feels like the urologist took some short cuts on my evaluation. But he assured me that he sees this all the time and that I was perfectly fine. I dont know what to do????

You should call the urologist and ask if they did any specific std tests.  If they didn't, you should have them done.

How long after this incident did you go to the urologist?  If it was less than 5 days, it was too early to test for stds anyway, so you'd need to retest.

Make sure they checked for white blood cells in your urine as well.

If your gf is having symptoms, she should get checked too - she might just have something like bacterial vaginosis, which would have nothing to do with your incident.
