Can anyone tell me with certainty how long chlamydia can live outside the body on a sex toy.. I recently visited a sex worker who inserted a butt plug into my anus I'm not sure if she used a condom on it. I'm pretty sure it hadn't been used for at least a few hours but I'm not sure when it was last used before that. Is it possible I could of got chlamydia from this or would the chlamydia be dead by then? I'm worried sex I may have gave it to my wife

Hi, as stated, std's are passed via sex and not sex toys.  We wish you the best and are closing this discussion.

Dosent matter if it was used by someone else. To contract it from a sex toy you would need immediate removal from someones vagina and immediate insertion into yourself, and even this is only in theory. STD are passed from sex.

Does anyone know if I have got anal chlamydia are the symptoms the same as normal sex chlamydia?? I had a strap on used on me and 3-4 weeks later have very painful testicles m. Could this be down to chlamydia or would xhlamydia in the anus give different symptoms??

But what if the sex toy has been used on somebody else who had chlamydia than was used on me?? I have pains in my testicles and recently had a new born with sticky eyes and I'm going out of my mind worrying. Other than what I said I have had no sexual contact whatsoever with any wife other than my wife
