US population-300,000,000. so based on the population and reported cases each year most people don't have it.
I am not trying to scare the person into thinking that if he/she has sex that he/she will get gonorrhea. I am just trying to get the right info to the people.
Well, compare that to 2.8 million new cases of chlamydia each year, or 45-60 million who have herpes. 800K isn't that much in comparison (the CDC puts it at 700K, but it still isn't that many in comparison).
Also according to the CDC, about 20 million are currently infected with HPV, and another 6.2 million will become infected each year.

delon_don: go to www.google.com , then write "Gonorrhea" and search.. hrs of reading for u there.
It is a STD. It is transmitted through unprotected vaginal, anal and oral sex. Most people don't have it, but if they do can be transmitted that way.
