stress wreaks havoc

I am a 24 year old female from saskatchewan. I went for routine std testing a few weeks ago, as I have not done so in over a year. I was checked for chlamydia, ghonnorrea, syphyllis, hep B, and HIV. everything is negative. I had no symptoms I believed to be std. related.
I was major stressed out. we all know how scary the hiv test can be. My doc. prescribed ativan to help prevent anxiety while I waited for test results.
yesterday I went in for the results, I was so tense and freaked out I thought I was going to collapse while I waited.
then I got a stomache pain. which hasn't gone away, today I had a bowel movement that was dark in color. it almost feels like a really sore muscle.
I went to a walk in clinic, the doc found the pain is coming from the colon area. she prescribed buscopan.
my question is, was the stress enough to do some damage to my body? what sorts of things does this type of stress do, cause pain in the abdomen? also, can the pain be related to the ativan I was taking?

hopefully with lots of rest water and buscopan and I will be feeling better.

I am an STD expert and cannot diagnose non-STD problems.  Your symptoms may be related to anxiety, but I am not making a specific diagnosis.  Certainly not due to HIv or any other STD.  As far as I know, Ativan cannot cause such symptoms.  You need to check with your own health care provider.

I appreciate your answer. I am assuming anxiety is common for people waiting for std results. I just wondered what sorts of physical ailments are a result of extreme stress or anxiety.
