syphilis and other STD / Can it happen that are not transmitted ?

Hi

I would like to know this  - Recently, I had a routine HIV/STD tests, which came back negative -- Nevertheless, I realized that they did not test me for syphilis, and when I asked the doctor, she told me that they perform syphilis test only when someone had homosexual contacts (!) -

Story line -- I had a long relationship, but we got separated for a couple of months, and meanwhile I had another sexual encounter with a colleague (protected vaginal, but unprotected oral and unprotected cunnilingus ) - So,  I took my exams anyway after ~ 4 1/2 months later of this "adventure" for HIV/Hep B, gonoria /chlamydia, all negative as I said, but I know that syphilis can be contracted in some cases even if you use condoms from mouth sores etc

So, now,  that we are together with my ex , I asked her to go to do a full HIV/STD test as well, and we thought this would be the best thing to do since we are having unprotected sex and we are thinking about making a baby in the near future --

My question is , if now my girlfriend  gets negative  for syphilis and other STDs, that also makes me also clean for syphilis for example ?

I mean is there any chance that I got syphilis or some other STD from my "adventure" for which I was not tested, and while we have unprotected sex with my girlfriend  she turns out negative ?  Can this happen ? I know that you might tell me that this might happen in the incubation period, but this is not the case, since is more than 4 months that I had the other sexual contact and we are back with my ex from mid July (~4 months)... Is there changes that I have some STD that cannot be passed to my girlfriend even if we had unprotected vaginal/oral sex and she gots tested after ~4 months ? (for the story, is been a while (~2months) that we did not have contact, since due to my work I am staying abroad for these months)

Thanks for your patience

I am not understanding your question.

Syphilis is only transmitted through direct contact with a syphilis sore. If you noticed no sore then you have nothing to worry about. It is not easy to miss.

Thanks for your prompt reply -- I do know that I cannot use others resutls as mine, and I intend also to so the syphilis test once I get access to some kind of lab (I am travelling a lot these days) but what about my question --My hypothetical question is if she can she got it from me and turn back negative ? Or , is there any chance that I got it , but not transmitted to her since we are having unprotected sex ? Is there any such cases on pos and the other stays neg even with no protection ?

Thanks

No, you can not use someone elses results as yours. Syphilis is rare in develped countries, I see no reason for testing.
