throat

by kmb225, Jun 17, 2009 01:16PM
About 10 days ago I performed oral sex on a male. After about only 5 minutes we stopped, and he never ejaculated in my mouth. Now, I have a sore throat, and white spots on my tonsils. About two weeks ago I visited the doctor and was treated for an ear infection. I am wondering if I should be worried that I contracted gonorrhea, or if the sore throat is just conincidental? Would gonorrhea cause white spots on my tonsils?

The vast majority of the time oral gonorrhea is asymptomatic. Oral sex is low risk to get a STD, possible but low risk. I would not worry about gonorrhea. But you can always have a throat swab done if you want.
