tiny white filaments on foreskin

Around 3 months ago i noticed some small white lumps/ filaments if i retract my foreskin. They are about 1cm from the urethra opening where the foreskin is connected. At first i thought they might disappear as fast as they appeared however they have not. They do not look to have spread or grown but because i have unprotected sex I am worried about an STD?
Has anyone any ideas what these may be because after searching the net i can find nothing about them.
Many Thanks.

BTW. Based on your description it sounds like fordyce spots. Google for images and compare but still visit a dermatologist. Fordyce spots are not harmful and not STD related.

It could be an STD such as molluscum contagiosum, genital warts or simply fordyce spots or hair follicles even without hairs. Don't waste time searching the net, trust me. Go see a reputable dermatologist. Do not go to a reg doc they will just guess and have you confused. If it is an STD you have nothing to worry about. GW and molluscum go away.  HPV which causes gw are very common and 75 percent of all sexually active adults will get it at some point in their life. Although many don't show symptoms. FYI don't have sex without a condom ever again and keep in mind you can still contract hpv herpes and molluscum with even proper condom use. Sex is pleasurable but has repercussions.
