Despite what manton posted, there is still a chance that you could have contracted the disease. Unless you tested the condom prior to use, how do you really know that there were no tears punctures?
The back of my Trojan wrapper says "if used properly, latex condoms will HELP to REDUCE the risk of transmission of HIV infection (AIDS) and many other sexually transmitted diseases. Also highly effective against pregnancy." And since HIV is transmitted by seamen, and HIV is a verrrrrrrry tiny virus, there is still a risk that it could have passed through the latex membrane of the condom (assuming you used latex).
I would suggest that you get tested-- and learn about the people you're with so you don't have to agonize in the future.
I see that your reply is overreacting. The risk in unprotected oral sex contact with a HIV+ person is still low, and it is likely that el terrible's partner did not have the virus in the first place. If a condom was used and was seen to be intact, the risk is so close to zero that no test is needed. Naturally, it does not harm to get tested once in a while anyway, but this description does not scream that a test is necessary.
HIV is a very fragile virus. You cannot just get exposed to one particular incident especially when a condom is being used. I have been told that our own saliva has the ability to breakdown the hiv virus which in part is why their is very little to no risk to a oral sex encounter. El Terrible oral incident would not be a specific reason to test. He used a condom and pretty much took his risk from low to zero. I agree with Ripazzio that you test for peace of mind.
You have nothing to worry about...
