elpasomis, I have the EXACT symptoms you have. I am currently in a war zone and cannot get to a regular Doctor (we have only a Medic on staff). In any case, I am relieved that it doesn't sound like anything overly alarming, but if you find out anything more, please post it. I have been freaking out pretty bad for awhile, and the medic treated me with antibiotics for Chlymidia and Ghonorrhea, "just in case" but my symptoms are the same.
how long did u have it for?
i don'tknow if this helps, but one time this girl gave me head and she was a bit rough and i wasn't used to it
for like a week or little bit more after, it burned when i pee'd and cummed, no discharge or anything and little red at the uretha opening, but it went away
never got checked, hope i don't got anything :P but that was a while ago
not sure if that helps ease your mind any
So if another sexual encouter 6 months ago, unprotected, change your mind on my symptoms? Given all other std's were ruled out by testing? I just cant get rid of these symptoms its driving me crazy!
The additional information does not change my opinion or advice.
Some people just have to live with such symptoms, just as others live with unexplained chronic back pain, abdominal pain, or other discomforts. It doesn't necessarily mean any disease that will harm you. In any case, I cannot help further.
Nobody can provide clear answers by online description when two health care providers were unable to do so. Clearly you could not have acquired trichomonas or any other STD from the exposure you describe. Most people with symptoms like yours are probably suffering primarily from anxiety magnifying otherwise normal body sensations. In other words, probably there is nothing going on that can ever harm your physical health or that of a future sex partner. White blood cells (pus cells) in urine often are due to inflammation, without infection.
Having said all that, it is true there is no good test for trichomonas in men. You could ask one of your providers to consider treatment for it just in case; it's pretty simple, just a single dose of metronidazole or tinidazole (the latter is preferable). But do not get your hopes up; I am quite certain that no antibiotic of any kind is going to make any difference in your symptoms.
Good luck-- HHH, MD
